What are the positives of cutting down the rainforest?

I am doing a project in cl and we are split up into two groups, one group against the rainforest, and one with the rainforest, and my time is running out! please help, i need a bunch of facts about the BENEFITS of cutting down the rain forest. please DO NOT say stuff like, cutting down the rainforest is bad because i know that, this is only a projects and i ONLY need stuff on what are some of the good thigs are about cutting down the rainforest. please help
