How many Americans would describe themselves as 'Confederate Americans'?
I would pretty much describe myself as a Confederate American by those terms. I certainly don't recognize the occupying power in Iraq and Afghanistan as my government, nor the mercenary troops committing war crimes and genocide in those countries as my troops (Shoot them where they stand--Kill them all!). I don't recognize the authority, or the validity, of the federal "security agencies." I think that the FBI, CIA, DEA, BATF, IRS, etc., should be abolished, and many of their agents hanged. I think that the Presidency and the upper house of Congress should be abolished, that most prisons should be destroyed, that incarceration for non-violent crimes should cease, and that the abuse of law-enforcement authority should be a capital offense. And I know I'm not alone in my convictions--So yes, I'd say there are a lot of us "Confederate Americans" out here, especially in the Far West.
