Its best to thaw in the fridge. I have thawed chicken in cold water in my sink when i forgot to take it out of the freezer. It will probably take 2 days to thaw in the fridge. I love to roast chicken. Just thaw it out clean with cold water, and pat dry inside and out with paper towels. Season with salt and pepper inside and out. I usually cut up a lemon and 6 cloves of garlic and place them in the cavity, brush the outside with ter and bake at 325 for about 2 hrs. or till done. You can cook the chicken in the crock pot, but i think its way better roasted.
