It's part of the equation to a complex energy problem. Sometimes things are said and or repeated without much thought. Sometimes technology just isn't far enough along to offer better solutions. We'll get to energy independence, but it will take a much more concerted effort and the willingness to make the necessary investments to achieve that goal.
