How did women aid the development of the european enlightenment?

im attempting to write an essay on the role of women in the development of the enlightenment and i intend to take a positive standpoint, but i cant seem to string my facts into a good essay. i've got little bits and pieces like mary wollstonecraft and women as heads of salons and coffehouses. anyway, if you have remotely any idea what im talking about i would LOVE your help
