What kind of gasket adhesive should I use?

What Gasket adhesive would you all recommend for a 2005 Honda 450R Crank Case Cover gasket? Just recently put all hinson clutch components and a ebc clutch kit. I used high temp RTV but it didn't seal off the greatest and the transmission fluid and the oil started to mix. So I've ordered the right gasket, and just wanted to put some adhesive on it for alittle added insurance. Thanks for any help
