Pregnant by a 'fling' who leaves soon?

I have been having a romance with a guy in a few of my cles this semester. We are in a relationship but I consider it to be more of a fling considering he is leaving for Europe after he graduates in May to work for an indefinite amount of time (certainly a few years at the minimum is what he has planned). I still have another year left so I just figured we could have fun, learn from each other, and move on. It has been absolutely wonderful in every way...until I found out this morning that I am pregnant. I haven't told him yet though I certainly will. I just don't know what to do in this situation. I've been on the pill and we sometimes used condoms, but I figured the pill pretty much took care of my situation. How should I handle this situation? Thanks everyone.
