How can I hide a big hole in my den?

wall? I know I need to get some drywall and all but until I can get a truck to go get the materials I need some ideas as to hide the holes? Could I put something decorative over them? I need some ideas fast ! The reason the hole is there is because when I was rearranging things we made a big ummm...boo boo. Thanks in advance !
