Evolution .....?

The part of 'someone arriving at atheism stays there' is hog wash...just read the book by Lee Strobel (Sp?) A Case for Faith...also I CAN go into detail about how 'some people believe' that "hominds arouse from environmental changes" because I have a biology degree and it just makes no sense to me...we see micro-evolution happen EVERY day...why then do we not see ANY of these macro evolution changes taking place? are we just soooo lucky to be in an era of no visible macro-evolutions? come on, I've heard the argument that the cross over species died out and so on but no one has EVER been able to tell me why we still don't see it, why did just the cross over species die out? I mean we still have bacteria and protozoans, and amoebas and fish and birds and apes and of course HUMANS...why no intermediates????
