Are Republicans a danger to National Security?

They accused Obama of not listening to the generals on the ground, yet when the military's generals comes to them and says that Don't ask, Don't Tell needs to be repealled they suddenly think the generals don't know what they are talking about. John McCain is on video saying specifically that DADT should be repealed if the generals say so. but has since flip flopped. So they are not only a danger to national security but also obvious flip floppers. Are these the kind of people we want running the country?
